Why we love this Wine
It takes a lot for a Grenache to stand out in McLaren Vale—in this region a winemaker pits themselves against the greats. Yet Stephen Pannell is one of the greats of course, and his choice to lean into a low sulphur, unfiltered approach unleashes this already potent grape. Dark plums, cocoa and cloves open, followed by rhubarb tan and bright berry depth. Confident Grenache that's destined to be a crowd-pleaser, no matter the crowd.
