Why we love this Wine
If you've been off off-dry Riesling, this is an invitation to hop back on it. The block used for No. 5 (Mambo's favourite) is grey clay over limestone, with the vines planted in an east/west direction. High natural acid makes for a uniquely elegant style, allowing a little residual sugar without becoming anything close to cloying. Aromas of sweet orange and mandarin blend into an intoxicating palate of apple and nectarine. Unctuous and rich on the mid-palate, but finishing crisp and clean. Chef's kiss.
