Why we love this Wine
The less common blend of Chardonnay and Shiraz make this Rural blend something quite unique. Cool climate fruit from Oberon in the upper Wambuul Valley, supplemented with a little extra Chardonnay from Chalou wines and Merlot from Patina wines. The early harvested fruit settled on lees before being racked off and combined with the later picked juice. Then a nice slow ferment coaxing forth some lovely personality. Crisp citrus, exuberant apple blossom, strawberries and tropical fruit. Textural and atypical.
