Bombshell alert, who doesn't swoon for a blonde Italian? 100% old-vine Trebbiano in true Abruzzo style, vinified with a short maceration and sans temperature control. Aged 8 months in concrete tanks this comes out uber aromatic even as a young wine: green apple, mandarin, black tea, citrus blossom. Very lively, spicy acid in spades. A classic, crunchingly crisp white to quaff in all seasons, and absolutely belting bang for buck.
