Quinta do Ameal has long been the wine against which the rest of Vinho Verde measures itself. Pedro Araújo farms the vines in the Lima district, where Loureiro is the key grape, organically grown and treated like it matters. This is 100% Loureiro, fermented in stainless steel and left on fine lees for seven months, building texture without losing the nerve. Citrus and orange blossom lead, opening into a fresh, vibrant palate with lively acidity. Not your usual spritzy Verde. Serious stuff.
