Why we love this Wine
Gutsy, elegant, slowly unwinding Nebbiolo from the Asili cru, perhaps the most celebrated cru of Barbaresco. The 2021 vintage was unique: a mild winter brought plenty of rain, before a cool spring and drier warm season. Healthy mature vines produced smaller berries with strong polyphenolic content in the 2021 vintage, making this a wine poised to age with grace and aplomb. Aged in 25-50 hl oak barrels for at least 30 months.
