Uffe Deichmann is a Danish winemaker crafting natural wines out of McLaren Vale. Codex Runicus is a runic Danish text including early Nordic law and chronicles of early Danish monarchs. Sip along and ponder if Uffe is a rule breaker worthy of a modern crown. His textural Kuitpo Grüner sees large format oak after a 21 day ferment on its own and some Greco skins. It’s all aromatic mandarin and spice, pepper and grapefruit.
