Pietradolce is becoming one of those wonderfully reliable names that we can call on year in, year out for our favourite Italians. Michele Faro’s 11 hectare Mount Etna vineyard produces deeply satisfying Carricante. Vibrant in florals, lemon zest and melon with some underlying cooking herbs, this is a voluptuous wine of the volcano.
