Why we love this Wine
Pierre Morey treats Aligoté with a soft touch, sympathetic to its rich tradition in Burgundy. Fruit from the fifty-year-old vines of Hautes Côtes de Beaune are transformed to offer a crisp, green nose with crunchy apples, pears and a citrussy tang. The palate smacks of citrus, juicy and assertive with mineral depth. Clean and crisp, but with a little linger. Full malo as well, the only wine in the revered range to enjoy such treatment.
