Why we love this Wine
This is a wine to test your restraint. Well worth savouring slowly over an evening, and well worth cellaring over a couple of years, but much easier said than done. Blending 68% Cab Sav with 24% Merlot and 8% Cab Franc, winemakers Kate Goodman and Lauren Hansen have turned out a stunning Coonawarra blend, savoury and deeply red fruited. Cherry and blackcurrant dominate, but not without a healthy hit of cardamom, star anise and five spice. The 2022 vintage was the type vignerons dream of; the region's famous red earth yielding fruit of unreal quality. Viva la terra rossa.
