Why we love this Wine
A stately old barge of a Chardy, coming slowly in to dock. Some nice woody character here from aged French oak barriques and hogsheads, with satisfying MLF roundness. Toasted nuts, buttercream richness. A little summery stonefruit and flinty minerality. 20% stainless steel treatment retains a pleasing freshness. A Hardy old Ox indeed.
