One of Australia's original biodynamic winegrowing pioneers, Ngeringa are reaping rewards in the quality of the fruit that's now on hand. They're tapping their own Estate vineyards, as well as sourcing Pinot Noir from three of the Hills' standout vineyards in Balhannah, Forreston and Charleston. In 2024, the Sheoak Pinot Noir has a cherry-cola ruby glow and ripe-fruits like plum, blackcurrant, strawberry, and liquorice. Earthy cassis and cocoa nibs ground the finish. Fun, funky wine for the same type of folk, it’s medium-bodied and super fresh, with carbonic bounce and lifted, wild ferment character.
