Michel Gahier’s 2020 Arbois Les Crêts Chardonnay is Jura Chardonnay at its naughtiest. Rascally lashings of honey, pear, and almond richness, all underscored by a long, lingering minerality that speaks to the region's unique soil. Oxidative Chardonnay has an umami depth and spiciness that's uniquely inviting, though doesn't overpower. Old vines, old wood.
