Why we love this Wine
Super unique grapes from close to Michel Gahier’s family home, it’s a ‘sous voile’ wine made from grapes found only in the Jura, the Melon à Queue Rouge. Not topped up in barrel, allowed to evaporate, with oxygen penetration developing into the exciting nutty spiciness we see here. Incredibly appealing. Drink it slowly. It lasted us the week.
