Beautiful old vine Carignan left to shine on its own, this is inimitable drinking from the cult hands of Tom Lubbe at Matassa. From knotted and gnarled rows grown on marle and granite soils, a true picture of the terroir. Medium ruby, aromatics of red fruits, florals and sweet herbs. Fresh and dark while understatedly bold. Length for days.
