Why we love this Wine
This cuvee features fruit taken from 70-year-old vines grown on sandy, granite based hillsides, where Marcel and Carine Joubert hand-harvest whole clusters destined a semi-carbonic maceration in cement tank. Zero sulphites or added yeast are added, leaving us with a primo example of Beaujolais that stuns in every. single. vintage. Brightly red-fruited, with smokey depths and a perfume-packed nose. What we imagine the Pope drinks in the bath.
