Why we love this Wine
Coldstream is a famous name in the Yarra Valley sub-regional hierarchy and a welcome addition to Mac Forbes Villages range of Pinot Noir. We love this wine's fleshy, textural mouthfeel, abundant in ripe cherry and satsuma plum with notes of mushroom broth, Asian spice and forest floor. There is a tension here between mid-palate suppleness and sinewy Autumnal Pinot sap; structured yet slinky and welcoming and a delight to drink at this stage of its evolution.
