Why we love this Wine
Big shot Barolo for the fiends among us. You know who you are. Made by the Luigi Pira and his family, three Crus around the village of Serralunga populate this wine; Marenca, Margherita and Vigna Rionda. How romantic. Slow ferments and old barrels allow the Serralunga terroir to shine, moody in round black cherry that’s complemented and lengthened by grippy tannin. Tar and forest floor. Gutsy greatness.
