Why we love this Wine
The Adelaide Hills sister brand for the Koerner brothers, LEKO, this rosé is an intriguing blend of 65% Merlot and 35% Chardonnay. The Merlot was treated to three hours of skin contact, hence the hue, while the Chardonnay had none for freshness. A touch of barrel fermentation for eight weeks shows body with stainless steel fermentation on lees for a further six months. No filtration or fining and only 150 dozen made. Not your typical pink wine!
