Why we love this Wine
100% Cabernet Franc planted back in the 1960's atop clay-limestone soils of Saumur in the Loire Valley. Fully destemmed ahead of fermentation and malolactic fermentation. Heaps to like here, fresh and vibrant, a medium-bodied flavour-bomb red wine. Red currants and sour plums on the palate, with soft aromas of leather and wood. Pair with grilled veg and soft cheeses.
