Why we love this Wine
La Mesma is owned and operated by the Rosina sisters, Paola, Francesca and Anna in Gavi of Piedmont, Italy and this is their 'original' wine to represent the region. From the clay-rich soils of Tassarolo and the calcareous, slightly poorer soils of Monterotondo we get rare complexity, power and dimension. A family affair we can definitely get behind; not just an utterly drinkable Cortese, but a commitment to biodiversity in the vineyard.
