The Koerner brothers are an emerging force and beacon for future creativity amongst the traditionality of the Clare Valley. The Cot is definitely a more serious rendition of a Malbec, with fruit picked early to retain vibrant freshness and crunchy structure. With pretty aromatics of red berries and sour fruit, dusted with herb and spice, the Malbec is intriguing and elegant and full of freshness. This wine has some X-factor.
