Outstanding in its field, and 'its field' is single site Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir, pretty hot company. But who doesn't love a Pinot Noir of laser like focus and precision, a taut, sour cherry, cranberry Pinot Noir, with a certain vegetal, beetroot-earthy charm. Bitey acid and solid structure, delicate fruit. This feels rounder and fuller as it opens up. Named for a surf break, Kerri Greens is the label of Alsace-born organic viticulturist Lucas Blanck and partner Alyce, a pair who tend self-managed vineyards across Balnarring and Red Hill.
