Why we love this Wine
Alte Reben, German for ‘old vine’, is Kaesler’s best-kept (or worst) secret. Planted in 1899, this single vineyard produced just 520 cases for 2014. Indulgently inky, this is ripe, rich Shiraz for the die-hards. Black plum and blackberry, liquorice and toasty spice powerfully paint the walls and roof of your mouth, while a little whisper of tannin dries off the very long finish. 40% new French oak.
