Third-generation winemaker Peter Barry stashed Greek assyrtiko vines in his suitcase after discovering they had the same crisp, acidic qualities of Clare Valley rieslings, with other-worldly flavours. Fresh cool and dry, this one has splashes of brine, pluckings of herbs, zest of lemons, and smoothness of pear. Welcome home. Lots to unpack.
