Why we love this Wine
We’ve long been big fans of Franco d’Anna’s Chardonnay from Hoddles Creek in the Yarra Valley. It is consistently wonderful drinking and would have to be one of the best value for money Chardonnay’s available. Pure stone-fruit aromas and flavours of peach and nectarine with a splash of pear and citrus for good measure with hints of oatmeal, struck flint and softly-spoken oak spice notes of vanilla, cinnamon and grilled nuts. Nicely balanced and it trails off beautifully.
