Why we love this Wine
Hill of Grace gets all the headlines. Up in Lenswood at 550 metres, Stephen and Prue Henschke have been quietly building something extraordinary since 1997 — Pinot Noir from some of the Adelaide Hills’ oldest vines, bottled and left to sleep for their Mature Disgorgement. The Ida Selma is a late disgorged, multi-vintage assemblage. Named for the family matriarch whose grandfather planted the first vines on Hill of Grace. Orange blossom, red cherry, brioche, roasted cashew. Fine bead, long finish. Immaculate.
