Why we love this Wine
The Gut Oggau 'blended family' of wines is mainly biodynamic blends, but there's a black sheep in every clan (translation: they are still in the process of converting some of the vineyards they tend to full-tilt moon-cycle, buried cow-horn, biodynamic Puritanism). Those vineyards' potential is yet to be revealed (hence this 'masked' rosé), but it's bloody good regardless. A big wash of minerals across the palate, with strawberries, raspberries and barely-there sweetness. Austria's homegrown heroes in the field blend: Blaufränkisch (bless you) and Zweigelt.
