Why we love this Wine
Another child born to the Gut Oggau family, Eugenie is a white field blend with a whole lot going on—green mango, citrus zest, ripe peach and thyme, with a herbaceous nose. Always experimental with their blends, Eugenie comes out of Eduard and Stephanie Tscheppe's first forays into fungus-resistant grape hybrids like Solaris, Muscaris and Souvignier Gris. Burgenland's best, looking forward: low-input farming, high-input wine (in the 'get-it-in-ya' sense). Light fizz, big rizz.
