Why we love this Wine
Single vineyard magic from a cracking Yarra vintage that has us tingling with bottle-popping fervour. Planted in ‘97, the Sexton vineyard is Giant Steps’ most revered Chardonnay, made from the infamous GinGin clone. This means chicken and hen bunches (aka small and large grapes) and plenty of funky phenolics. New and old French oak and some malo set up zesty citrus, jasmine and hazelnuts laced in cream. Lavish.
