Giant Steps are positive champions of single vineyard wines, and this Yarra Chardonnay from the angular Applejack vineyard does their ethos proud. All handpicked and whole bunch pressed, a mix of new and old French oak maturation tease out a long and spicy Chardy with a volcano-esque underlying minerality that latches on tight and won’t let go.
