Why we love this Wine
Making a single-site Sangiovese has long been front of mind for Gareth. Now that it's finally here, it's jumped right to the top of our must-drink list. Basket pressed to both terracotta amphora and French oak and then aged for just shy of a year, this wine is the poster-boy for cool climate, high elevation Sange. Gentle tannins and a pert acidity make way for soft fruits and an earthy edge. Sour cherries, red plum and a nice hint of delicate floral notes. Well worth the wait.
