Why we love this Wine
Maybe we're just a sucker for a renegade, but François Rousset-Martin continues to redefine what we want out of Cotes du Jura. The richness that his ouillé (“topped-up”) wines offer is seriously seductive (ie. this here Savagnin). Slightly butterscotch-y on the nose, the 2020 Perrieres is a little softer and lower in acid than others in his range. A tiny bit reductive, this is a memorable wine from an unforgettable producer.
