Half grown on the Beechworth vineyard’s southern slopes, half on the north, the contrast in the Shiraz fruit is hectic - isn’t nature cool? Making for delightful blending, both parcels see around 25% whole bunch and 21 months in the best French barriques, with 25% new oak adding finesse and more character. It’s brawny yet still gentle in its own way, like that big mate of yours that’s a real hugger.
