Why we love this Wine
The best of southern Beaujolais comes through here; a clean, jubey berry profile, grounding, dusty tannins and the perfect light-medium weight to be utterly crushable alongside the early courses of an evening. Briefly carbonic on the nose and palate, but a well-balanced, mineral mouthfeel overall. Anthony Perol farms over 10ha organically on the Pierre Dorees or 'golden stones' at the southern edge of Beaujolais, on stony sandstone, sandstone, marl, clay and blue shale soils.
