Why we love this Wine
Patrice Colin is an 8th generation vigneron, yet this Gamay-based Pét-Nat is fresh as morning dew. Reminiscent of a Lambrusco with its tart cherries, cranberries and herbal aromas, but there's depth and complexity as the wine evolves: earthiness, mouth-watering acid and something smoky. Dry and gently tannic, this is a far-cry from syrupy, overeager sparkling red you may have had elsewhere. A fine mousse of bubbles makes for divine texture, and a wine that will pair with near any dish in peppery perfection.
