Rare Madiran pre-phylloxera Tannat vines for liquid gold vibes. Farmed by Christine Dupuy since ‘93, this go-getter produces Tannat that despite its twisted old vines (1870s!) and leading name is little of the sort - overly tannic, that is. Christine uses carbonic maceration to give bright jubey notes in abundance. Dark chocolate and sweet wild blackberries meet earth and dried herb. Drink by candlelight.
