Why we love this Wine
Skin contact Chenin Blanc from the Loire Valley is obviously a very good thing. Even more so when it is from Christine and Joel Menard from Domaine des Sablonnettes. The grapes are hand harvested and macerated as whole bunches for 1 month in tank and the resulting wine is a delicious riot of apple, pear, blood orange and dried citrus rind characters cut with spice and floral flourishes. Textural and captivating.
