Chatillon is Ed Peter‘s (owner of Australia’s Yarra Yering) hidden lovechild, squirrelled away in the French Alps. A saucy secret no longer, the Mondeuse is a vibrant, alpine red that delivers big time on freshness and character. The nose is all violets, raspberry, and a pinch of white pepper, leading into a medium-bodied, supple palate with crushed strawberry, red currants, and a touch of wood spice. We love the cacao complexity, and the refreshing but savoury finish.
