Why we love this Wine
Ducking out of engineering and winemaking to answer his true calling of running the family winery, Louis Clément David Beaupère (Clément) farms one special acre in Beaujolais Villages, so this Gamay is from two vineyards in the appellation, one an old Jules Chauvet site. Carbonic maceration but not 100%, adding no sulphites until bottling, its firm and focused, grippy and youthful, bursting with pomegranate, pepper and blackberry.
