'Rancio' describes the intoxicating set of complex aromas that long-term aged fortified wines and spirits like cognac take on over extended periods. All the nutty, toffeed notes that Dandelion have nailed in this deep ochre elixir with olive reflections. Layers of fragrance, very classy: crème brulee, pecan pie, figs with fresh cream. The palate is zesty and dimensional, unexpectedly refreshing, with citrus curd, tangy marmalade. Insane length, endless nuance. X.O. X.O (Extremely old.)
