Why we love this Wine
Here’s Savvy B with a little extra gusto thanks to its delayed release by the Thomson family, custodians of the Crawford River vineyard since ‘75. Planted in ‘94, this block’s ‘22 vintage was whole bunch pressed, spending 10 months in older oak before blending and seven months in tank, with a little malo in the mix. Textural layers of cedar and fruit make it joyously ostentatious. Pinky up, let’s play posh.
