Why we love this Wine
Waltzing Clotilde Davenne may be based in neighbouring Bourgogne, but her Méthode Traditionelle can go toe-to-toe with Champagne's finest. Floral nose, fresh citrus. More savoury than not, it's got toasty complexity from 18 months on lees, and a slightly saline splash. A non-vintage cuvée blending 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay. The Burgs are better.
