From Fleurie and Domaine Coudert comes ‘Clos de la Roilette’, an ode to a beloved racehorse of the original Domaine owner. La Roilette loved Gamay; or was it her owner? No matter, we love this. Grown from granite and heavy clay soils, both blue and bright red fruit meet mushroom and violet, orange rind, cinnamon and earth, with more body than you’d expect. It’s just so tasty. We’re certainly jockeying this into prime position in the wine rack…
