Outside the tiny town of Gols, Claus Preisinger farms 19 hectares and 64 different plots, biodynamic since 2008. 'Kalkstein' references the shell limestone soils beneath these 30-years-old vines, hand-harvested, spontaneously fermented, stainless steel, and large barrels. Bright minerality with layers of plum, raspberry and savoury herbs.
