Coal River Valley Chardonnay has us dreaming of the Apple Isle. This absolute cracker single block wine grows over Jurassic dolerite and basalt, with less rainfall than other parts of Tassie. Whole bunch pressed and wild fermented in a mix of old and new French barriques and puncheons, the result is a decadently layered beauty with so many ideal drinking occasions.
