Why we love this Wine
Rumour has it, the Cirillo vineyard has the oldest Grenache vines in the world. Planted in 1848, it carries with it a serious underlying power and finesse. Paired with a long, warm vintage in 2017, we have a wine of contrast. Intense yet subtle, full bodied with delicate tannins that linger for aeons. Delicate cherry and a herby scrub move into aniseed and white pepper. To those with patience, a little longer in cellar will reward you well. But to the lounge lizards that can't resist, cin cin!
