Why we love this Wine
One of the biggest names in the Barbaresco hall of fame: Bruno Rocca. The guy just gets Nebbiolo, coaxing out all its stunning nuance and clay-limestone terroir, crafting wines that serve it up in every sip. The 2022 is intensely garnet, gorgeous in the glass. Dark fruit aromas dominate: black cherry, plum, boysenberry. A little dry flower. And on the palate, looong, rich, and faintly bitter (think dark chocolate, or tiramisu). Truly spectacular stuff from one of the Piedmont greats.
