Four generations deep in Barolo and the Brezza family does things the old way β certified organic, fruit sourced from three communes (Barolo, Monforte d'Alba, Novello) vinified separately in concrete before blending for malolactic, then settled into big old Slavonian botti. This is Barolo without the fuss, built for drinking rather than waiting out. Cherry and violet emerge alongside dried rose petals, camphor and tobacco. Tar and roses, properly. Elegant now, built to go the distance if required.
