Bogle Family Vineyards has been working Clarksburg's delta clay for six generations — sustainable farming, same patch of dirt, no theatrics. This Chardonnay is fermented and aged sur lie in French and American oak, the kind of handling that builds serious texture. Green apple and ripe pear up front, toasted nutmeg and clove settling in with some exotic coconut and tropicals, finishing long and a little buttery. Old-school Californian Chardonnay, done properly. Generous, polished, Can someone pass the butter?
